Paddleball Makes Another Tournament Appearance in Michigan. ————————–This past Saturday on 3/9/24, the annual 2024 Midwest Doubles Paddleball tournament was held at Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan.
35+ players from around the state and Wisconsin paid another visit to the facility to compete in this fun and very competitive tournament ranging from newer to very advanced and experienced Paddleball players.
First and foremost as always, big kudos to tournament director Jim Owens for always marketing, planning and organizing this great event.
Jim is very passionate about Paddleball and is always on point with conducting a very well run tournament and always communicating to the players of what is going on and giving them direction all day to make sure the tournament runs smoothly and is always a great success.  Thank you Jim for everything that you do for the sport of Paddleball in continuing to make it keep going and keep the passion alive.  You are greatly appreciated.
Thank you as well to Jim Price , Andrew Pappas and Pete Magar for their hard work and dedication as part of the committee with Jim Owens to put together this great tourney.  Thank you very much gentlemen.
The word of the day was “Action”.  Action was happening on every single court as players were showcasing their multitude of skills in different divisions ranging from Open, A, B, Vintage and 70+ combined.  Divisions were either a round robin or straight draw with a drop down division giving players plenty of games to compete in.  Snacks and drinks were provided all day to give players some hydration and nutrition.  It looked like everyone had a great time and was glad that we could all get together, compete on the courts and have great conversations, jokes, laughter and camaraderie off the courts.
Great job to all the competitors.  Until next year.  Peace to all!

Thank you, Cyrus. You are a paddleball and racquetball asset, indoor and outdoor.

Jim O.
