Randy Wackerle and Chad Krager prevailed again in the Open for the eighth consecutive time. Randy and Chad are Bay City, Michigan natives. They defeated another Bay City team, Adam Kohler and Greg Kenaan in the final, 21-20, 8-21, 21-10.
Don McIntyre and Scott Rettelle of Midland, Michigan captured the B Championship, defeating Eric Boks and Thomas Bodary 21-13, 21-12 in the final. Boks and Bodary are from the Bay area.
The Bay City team of Pat O’Shea and Bill Jamrog of Bay City, Michigan claimed the C Championship, defeating Kerry Snow and Don Kitson in the final. Snow and Kitson are from northern suburbs of Detroit.
